Sam Adams Brewery Tour in Boston - July 2010

One afternoon, we did the free tour of the Sam Adams Brewery. It was pretty interesting to hear and see how beer was made. They even let us taste the raw hops, barley, and malt. They all tasted disgusting.

At the end of the tour we got to go in a tasting room and try four different beers. It was so fun to watch how the room just got more and more rowdy and loud as the tastings progressed. At first, everyone was listening attentively to our tour guide but by the end she had to ring a bell to get our attention. Poor girl, having to deal with loud drunks all day.

Cheers! These are our tasting glasses, which we got to keep. I hauled mine through two states and Canada and they made it home unbroken, but what am I going to do with them? I actually have no idea.
