If you know me, you know I love going to the spa! My favorites are pedicures, massages, and facials.....and probably in that order. And if you've been following my blog, then you should know that my favorite hotel spa is The Camelback Inn in Scottsdale, Arizona. I had such a good time there on my last visit and I can't wait to go back. Utah doesn't have many hotel spas like The Camelback but we do have some amazing day spas. My favorite is the Sego Lily Spa in Layton (they also have a location in Salt Lake City, although I've never been there). I've always said that the best pedicure I've ever had in my life was at the Sego Lily Spa by a lady named Colette (sadly, she's no longer there). Every treatment I've had a Sego Lily has been amazing.....and I've tried most of them. :) So, if any of my friends wants to go to the spa with me for a day of pampering or just an hourlong pedicure, call me. I'm good to go anytime.
It seems like so many of my blog posts revolve around my travels, hotels, and restaurants so it makes perfect sense for me to blog about my many spa visits. I would have to do lots of "research" though before I could blog about the spa, but I suppose I could make the sacrifice! So what do you think? Would you read a spa blog? Would that be called a splog? Somehow, that doesn't quite roll off the tongue, does it? Shawna's Splog! Makes me giggle a little just thinking about it.

I would definitely read your splog. The word splog is funny to me too, makes me think of Sploosh from the book/movie 'Holes'. But that's another story.
Sadly, spas are not something I have access to here in the Basin. The closest we have is an Asian nail shop. They give great pedicures.
Although, I have found a couple massage therapists here who will bring their table and come to your home. That is a wonderful experience! Being at home after a massage and not having to get dressed, go out in public and drive home is great.
